WOYWW....

Another week has passed and spring is on it's way [she says hopefully]   :-)

The churchyard opposite our house is full of snowdrops so I snapped a pic for you.  They look so pretty amongst the old grave stones.

Phillip the pheasant likes to come to feed on a daily basis....mostly to annoy our dogs I think cos here he is right outside our kitchen patio door feeding and watching the 3 dogs sitting the other side of the glass  :-)  He is such a stunning bird and is so beautifully marked.

I thought this week I would show you a busy desk.  This was Monday's desk.....and this week the mess was made by just the two of us cos our friend T was unable to join us.  We seem to fill our table with all sorts.....
  • fabrics
  • glue
  • scissors [at least two pairs], snips [at least two pairs], pins and needles
  • dolly patterns...yes more dollies in the making.
  • threads, trims, beads and buttons in the box in the middle of the table....this is Jo's travelling project box.
  • sewing machine [Jo's only cos mine are all behind me as I stand to snap the pic]
  • 2 coffee cups [compulsory of course and somewhere there will be two chocolate biscuit wrappers!]
  • the canvas pic Jo is working on
  • through the doorway in top right hand corner is the ironing board today [Jo put it here so I couldn't see her using bond a web on it  :-) ....and we all know what bond a web on the ironing board is like!]

My family is still growing.  I have had so many people call in and want to buy them that I thought I'd best make enough to fill a shelf in the blog shop.  I have now cut out a further 3 so will be uploading them all in the blog shop as soon as they are all finished.  They are adapted from an 'Oh sew Dollin' pattern and are suitable for children over three to play with [some have small parts such as ribbons and buttons].  Each and every one have instant appeal as all my little visitors have proved and I know at least two of these have found homes already  :-).....and the best bit is I love making them  :-) :-)

Here is my desk today.  These are the next three little dolls in the making...three more little girl dollies and lots of finishing off still to do.  Each doll is different so if you have a little person in your life I'm certain there will be one to suit.

That's it from me today.  Please leave me a little hello comment before dashing off to Julia's blog to join in the WOYWW fun.  Hope you all have an exciting week [I have lots planned for this week and will share more after the events [yes there is more than one on the cards for this week]....aren't I a tease?].
Hugs to you all,
Annie x

Don't forget to call in if you haven't already and check out my blog candy - it closes late tonight and I should be drawing tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Neet 29

The dollies all have their different personalities don't they! You can tell which ones are the real scamps :) Modelled on anyone we know?? LOL
Philip is a handsome boy and doesn't he know it! Pity that they are birds of very limited intellect - when we drive through Savernake Forest, it's Dodge the Daft Pheasant, they're everywhere!

PS Thanks for the offer of a cuppa but my folks are in South west Wales, so I#ll be steaming down the M4!

Crikey you've been at it (all) again! I don't visit for what I thought was only a week but is obviously longer (sorry!) and you have been off and whizzing about with your magic sewing machine. It has to be magic no other way you could get everything done!
Love the dolls Annie, and your small crew are getting so big now. What poppets.

No cold cups of coffee on my crafty table this week, love those dolls, I know I've said that before, but they are lovely! There was this secret place, when I was little, to where loads of snowdrops grew...it was through this low dark tunnel of trees and suddenly into a lovely garden... I'd pick load for my mum, years later I realised I'd found a way into a large mansion's garden! oops!! Have a very Crafty Week,

Wow Annie those dolls are so cute, I keep having a thunk who I could give one too lol, I remember buying my daughter one like that (now 15) but I'm afraid it sat unloved :-( she wanted toy cars instead, in the end I gave it to a nursery lol. That pheasant is beautiful, I have a clarity stamp like that, maybe I will have to keep looking at the pic while colouring in an image. Loving your desk and love the canvas Jo is working on. Happy woyww :-) Kezzy x

Enjoyed the peek at your tabletop but honestly...I have to say that the picture of the pheasant feeding on your patio is fabulous.
Pheasants are hard to see here. When i was a child we had a couple that lived in the hedges of our property. We would only see them a few times a year.
My Dad would stop the car and we would watch them in awe.

When i visit England, I am always amazed at how often I manage to see a pheasant! Such a delight!!!

Sorry I'm late this week - ever felt like strangling British Telecom?

Super dollies Annie and so, so much going on. You and Jo must love your Mondays so much - I snorted about her hiding away to use the ironing board :)) Di xx

Always busy Annie, both you and Jo, but that's the best way to be, especially when you're making lovely little dollies to spread some cheer. Love the seasonal photos too.
