This week's smiles...week 71

Here we are at the end of another week of fun and games. Lots of you joined in again last week....thanks so much to each and every one of you for making the effort to snap your smiles and sharing them with us....we can never have too many smiles can we?

I am featuring my much older sister Jo's post this week with her spring harvest picture....think we have all been there :-)....it certainly made me giggle.

My pics that have made me smile this week are of my 3 little Granddaughters trying on the flower girl dresses they will be wearing for our son Mark's wedding in August......

On the left, Phoebe and Lulu on the right :-)......looks like a shortening job for Nanny Annie is required a little nearer the time in case they have a growth spurt!

And.......

Little Lexi....hers needs shortening rather more as you can see :-)

And with the added giggle of little Sam in the background with his nappy hanging out of his trousers :-)  He's a typical little boy with no waist so every time he bends down to play he loses his trousers...even if he wears a belt!!

So that just a few of the things that have made me smile this week.  Please share your smiles by linking them below and I will pop over to to pay you a visit as soon as I'm able.  Thanks for joining in the fun.

Hugs,
Annie x

  1. This is a PERFECT reason to smile this week. These little angels are simply adorable looking, even if the gowns are a bit long.

And poor Sam. That was a real giggle for me.

I saw Jo's post from last week, and I agree. That had to be the funniest thing I had seen in a LONG time. I even told my friend Sally about it because we were talking about the last time she shaved her legs was about a week before our conversation. I told her the last time I shaved my legs was when I went to CA to visit my friend Joseph. That was 2008! Of course, I don't have hair on my legs, I have fuzz. Regardless, that was a great choice on your part.

Happy Friday Smiles and have a wonderful weekend, too.

  5. Aw! Three little angels!
Will Sam and Steve be wearing suits? There is something just adorable about a child in a suit...
    Thank you for the smile

  6. They are all so adorable! I just had to giggle about Sam's trouser problem...Alex has exactly the same issue and trousers always end up falling down. Tracksuit bottoms with strong elastic are the only ones that don't. Thanks for the smile. Caro x (#6)

  8. So special...you are blessed in having them so close. I just saw new photos of my new baby granddaughter in Germany...makes me sad I can't hold her. Have a lovely weekend. I forgot it was Friday, the day's been a mess.

  12. Hello Annie sorry I'm late commenting. Had family and friends here since Thursday lunchtime until this morning. Some for most of time others coming by yesterday for a BBQ. It's been hectic but loved it. The flower girls will be so beautiful. X
